The Swiss Cavalry Squadron 1972 (SKS 1972) is a military, non-service association, which as a traditional unit is under the honorary patronage of the Chief of General Staff of the Army. The purpose of the association is to preserve the cavalry tradition and to preserve and pass on the knowledge of the former dragoons to posterity.
The SKS 1972 appears at public, civil and military events in the uniforms and saddles (including weapons) of the Swiss cavalry, as it was equipped until its dissolution in 1972. Under Calendar you can find out when and where the SKS 1972 can be seen.
